Data Deletion Instructions

Delete your account in-app

To permanently delete your Koda account and all associated data (including connected social account tokens, scheduled posts, analytics history and AI generations):

1. Sign in to your Koda account at kodahq.app
2. Open the user menu (top right) and select Manage account
3. Scroll to the Delete account section
4. Confirm by typing your email and clicking Delete

Disconnect a connected social account

To remove just a specific connected platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) without deleting your whole Koda account:

1. Go to kodahq.app/accounts
2. Click the trash icon next to the account you want to disconnect

For Instagram specifically you can also revoke Koda's access directly from Instagram's settings: Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → Koda-IG → Remove.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, email koda.app@outlook.com from the address associated with your Koda account with the subject “Data deletion request”. We process requests within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

• Your user profile, email and authentication records
• OAuth tokens for any connected TikTok, Instagram or YouTube accounts
• Scheduled and published post records
• Analytics history and engagement data
• AI-generated content, prompts and reference media
• Billing records (anonymised where required by accounting regulations)

What we keep

We retain anonymised, aggregated usage metrics that cannot be linked back to you, plus the minimum financial records required by French and EU accounting law (typically 10 years for invoices). These contain no identifying information beyond what tax authorities require.
